College Scorecards

Cards will be issued only to one applicant. Joint cards will not be issued. The address, social security number and employer, if any, should be verified by the credit bureau.

Credit History
Applicants will probably not have any credit history. On the applications we will request a list of open credit references, such as credit cards or bank loans. We will, however, run one credit bureau on the applicant using the permanent home address or school residence. If the applicant has unacceptable credit then the application will be rejected. If no credit record is shown we will approve the application.

We will require the listing of a bank account reference on the application. It will be neccessary to have a bank account to be obtain a card. We will verify the account if we feel it is necessary for processing the application. The fact that the applicant has no stated income will not be a reason to approve or deny the application.
