i did not e-mail anything to your employees after you spoke with mark the other day.
it's time to take your website against ITEX down. otherwise, you are defaming the character of ITEX corporate staff, and that is unacceptable since i know these people personally and can say that you are maligning their business and telling others not to do business with them.
that, larry, IS not legal, and your website would be asked to be removed in a court of law.
as for your current situation with ITEX: you need to fill out a 1099 B, activate your account with about $8,000 in it - then, you need to go after the fresh productions money. open your account and withdraw your complaint against ITEX, please. if you need to file a civil suit against fresh productions, so be it - but ITEX has offered you as much as it possibly can for you. have a nice day.

Fwd: Larry Chiang's Defamation Against ITEX Violates the Law
Doug, Did you just email a legal threat to an employee of mine (Philip Mead)? My area manager forwarded this email that you sent him about my ITEX complaint. Learn your laws before you fire off emails to employees of UCMS. Your efforts to squash the ITEX UCMS dispute will only escalate awareness Mr. Douglas Stambler. Larry

WHY DOES LARRY CHIANG DEFAME PEOPLE WHO WORK FOR ITEX CORPORATION, WHEN HE HAS BEEN GIVEN A FAIR AND JUST RESOLUTION OPPORTUNITY TO SETTLE HIS GRIEVANCE? HOW LONG WILL LARRY CONTINUE TO LIE ABOUT ITEX CORPORATION ON THE INTERNET? larry chiang's grievance: http://www.ucms.com/itex-barter-itex-payment-systems.htm RESPONSE TO LARRY WITH SOME HISTORICAL CONTEXT OF INTERNET DEFAMATION CASES: From: http://www.netlitigation.com/netlitigation/defamation.htm Defamation and the Internet A communication is defamatory if it tends to harm the reputation of another as to lower him in the estimation of the community or to deter third persons from associating or dealing with him. The Internet's far reach and apparent provision of anonymity to the user have provided new "fertile" ground for actions arising out of defamation. However those wishing to curb libelous statements face an upward battle due to the combination of government legislation, procedural rules and the way in which communications over the Internet are conducted. Itex Corp. v. John Does 1-100 In September, 1998, the "barter exchange" site, Itex filed an action against some 100 Yahoo BBS authors for allegedly posting false and defamatory statements about Itex's management, includ ing referring to Itex's management as "blind, stupid, and incompetent." In response to a court order, Yahoo provided Itex with the authors' email addresses it had on file. At the time, Yahoo's policies did not include verification of accurate email addresses for its visitors, including its chat room users. Relying on that information to obtain court orders against various ISPs, Itex eventually identified 5 of the "John Does." In part as a result of this lawsuit, Yahoo changed its policy and it now attempts to authenticate the email addresses given by visitors.
